welcome to ekah yoga, a community yoga studio based in the heart of Brighton and Hove, with over 30 hot yoga and non hot yoga classes on our schedule to choose from.
our classes range from hot yoga basics, hot yoga 90 to hot yoga flow in studio 1, to prana vashya, Jivamukti, yin yoga, nidra, joints, therapy yoga and barre in studio 2.

the wild space - june 7th 2025
**Summer Day Retreat, Off-grid & Eco-friendly**
Join Bev and spend the day in the South Downs. A chance to reconnect with yourself and like minded souls in nature. Expect yoga in a Geo Dome filled with natural light, lunch from You juice, and a wild spa area with sauna and cold plunge.
Arrive, Herbal Tea made from the surrounding fields. Bev will be sharing two yoga sessions with you; Yang flow in the morning and Fire (Agni) element awareness, a practice to increase our internal heat, and prepare us for our nutritious lunch. Includes Breathwork (Pranayama) & Extended Savasana with assist.
Afternoon, Will continue with a Yin/Restore and Earth (Prithvi) element awareness, a practice to settle, rest and digest taking time to pause and reconnect. Includes Yoga Nidra & Sound bath
Wild Spa;
Time to chill out in a hammock, around the campfire, and enjoy the sauna and plunge options. Depart, Gratitude meditation.

studio etiquette
we endeavour to make every practice at ekah as pleasant as possible for every student, kindly be mindful and respectful of your fellow yogis when attending the studio.
arrive early. doors open 30 minutes before the class starts. at least 15 minutes before the class is due to start is ideal to relax and prepare, the building entrance door is locked 5 minutes before classes start.
let us know in advance of any injuries or changes that might affect your practice.
leave shoes and belongings in the changing rooms or lockers.
come to class well hydrated but with an empty stomach, and try to eat at least 3 hours before practice.
bring your own mat or a large towel to place on top of our mats, for both hot and non-hot classes.
all classes are teacher-led classes and follow a specific sequence created by the teacher.
the practice studios are quiet and phone/ electronic device free spaces.
practice within your own capacity, if you are unsure about any aspect of your practice then please ask, we are here to serve and be of service.
leaving classes early is not permitted, before booking any classes make sure you have ample time to complete the whole class.
we offer hands on assists/ adjustments, if you do not wish to be adjusted then you must let reception know before your class starts.
our cancellation window is 6 hours before your class starts.
our classes are not suitable for pregnant students, if you’re pregnant and wish to practice kindly contact us before booking a class.
